Riverside Healthcare invites you to participate in Art 4 Heart: A Journey to a Healthy Heart through the Artist's Eye, a juried art exhibit that will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020. We hope that you will be inspired by the theme of heart health and will help us to make our celebration of Heart Month outstanding!
Art submissions may be created in any medium. Your imagination is the only limit. All works of art should be ready to display; that is, works on paper should have a matte, works on stretched canvas should have their edges painted black, etc. (works on canvas board are okay submitted, as is). To submit your art, please upload a photo or digital file to represent your submission with your school information. The deadline for submitting completed work is Tuesday, February 11, 2020. (Art will be returned to you at a later date, shortly following the exhibit).
We are inspired by your creativity and pleased to showcase your artwork. The reception will be held at The Majestic (150 N. Schuyler Ave. in Kankakee) on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. Artwork will be on display, an interactive exhibit will be created and light refreshments will be available. An esteemed juror will be awarding ribbons along with cash prizes to a few top works. Admission is free so please, invite your friends and family! We look forward to viewing your art and enjoying your company.

Submit Your Art
Art may be in any medium. Please ensure that your piece is no larger than 30 inches by 30 inches. To submit your artwork for entry please upload a photograph or digital representation of your piece of art in jpg form below. Not all artwork submitted will be accepted. Artwork may be uploaded by the teacher or the student. Physical Art will be collected by February 26, 2020. All works of art should be ready to display; that is, works on paper should have a matte, works on stretched canvas should have their edges painted black, etc. (Works on canvas board are okay submitted, as is) The deadline for submitting completed work is Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
By submitting the form below you hereby release your artwork for exhibit in the "Art 4 Heart" juried exhibit; You release Riverside Medical Center and the Majestic Theatre from all liability and responsibility for said artwork; You grant Riverside Medical Center permission to photograph my work for possible display in conjunction with their Heart Health Month events.

Christina Loraine took the long road to Art and took some notes along the way. She studied Philosophy at Western IL University and enjoyed a career as an Executive Recruiter in Atlanta. In 2006 she began exhibiting her work in various Atlanta art galleries and in 2008 curated her first exhibit, married and started a family; not long after that her husband was offered a job outside of Chicago and the family of 3 moved to Illinois where Christina now works from a home studio. She stays active as an exhibiting artist in various art galleries and art festivals in the region and she's also very active in her local community, curating exhibits and helping to organize art festivals. Christina's work has won several awards and she was a Flying House Artist in 2012.
Christina is the currator of Riverside's annual Art 4 Heart program.
